Torrevieja’s iconic Summer Parade will take place this Friday, August 15, starting at 9:00 PM. The event will begin near the Centro Cultural “Virgen del Carmen” and proceed along Calle Ramón Gallud to its intersection with Calle Clemente Gosálvez.

This year’s parade will feature the 2024/2025 Corte Salinera as the main highlight. Riding on a float, Reina de la Sal Nuria Martí and her court — Ana Vidal and Inés Martínez — will greet the public. They will be joined by the 2025 Carnival Royalty: Lucía Martínez, Pablo Hernández, and Mireya Ferrández, each accompanied by their respective dance troupes.

Leading the parade will be a float showcasing representatives from neighborhood festivals, including the Damas and Bellesas del Fuego of “Molinos del Calvario”, the Queen of La Mata, and the Queen of the Sagrado Corazón festivities.

Adding color and rhythm, more than 200 dancers from carnival groups such as Ciudad del Mar, Escarcha-te, Osadía, Las Nikai, Los Gonfer, Bufa la gamba, Porque sí, Jolgorio, Desafío, Mar de plata, Daimana, Soul Dance, Payas, QK, No ni ná, and Aquí hay tomate will take part in the procession.

The Corte Salinera will also close the parade, which concludes near Calle Clemente Gosálvez. The celebration will then move to Paseo Vista Alegre, where a large exhibition zone will showcase costumes and performances. The evening will end with the unveiling of the 2026 Carnival Kings and next year’s official poster, marking the start of a new festive cycle in Torrevieja.
