Torrevieja’s mayor welcomes choirs to a morning of collaboration and friendship ahead of the Gala
This morning, the mayor of Torrevieja, Eduardo Dolón, welcomed the choirs participating in the 71st International Habaneras and Polyphony Choral Competition. The event marked the beginning of a key day in which choir directors exchanged experiences and learned from each other’s musical traditions.
Held as part of the 12th International Habanera and Choral Singing Days, the reception concluded with a joint rehearsal of the compulsory piece ‘Torrevieja es así’, which will close the competition tonight.
The president of the Patronato expressed gratitude for the high level shown by the choirs and praised their spirit of friendship and cooperation.
