Benidorm hosts concerts, comedy and festivals for all ages from June to October
There is no summer without music, and Benidorm knows it well. According to Información, the city has lined up dozens of concerts, festivals and stand-up shows between June and October at the Julio Iglesias Auditorium and Guillermo Amor Sports City.
Events Councillor Jesús Carrobles says the programme is for all ages, welcoming locals, nearby residents and tourists alike. The summer kicks off on 7 June with ‘Tribute to the Route’ at Julio Iglesias Auditorium, followed by David Cepo’s monologue and Luli Pampin’s children’s show on 13–14 June.
In July, Reggaeton Beach Festival takes over Guillermo Amor Sports City with artists like Eladio Carrión, El Alfa and Chencho Corleone. Later that month, the Low Festival returns from 25–27 July with more than 30 acts including Pet Shop Boys, Empire of the Sun and The Kooks.
Comedy continues with Martita de Graná on 18 July and Aguilera & Mení’s ‘Misión Impro-sible’ on 19 July. In August, Los Caños reunite for a comeback concert, and Benidorm Pride marks its 15th anniversary from 1–7 September. The season closes with the first Indiverso DJ Festival on 20 September, featuring Woody from Bastille, Supersub DJ’s and Ley DJ.
