Renovations, new frontenis courts, an access control and a cafeteria to open by October.
Renovation works at Torrevieja’s Ciudad Deportiva are progressing well and are expected to finish in September or October. The project includes the repair of seven panoramic padel courts meeting World Padel Tour standards, two frontenis courts, a new access control point, and the construction of a cafeteria.
Mayor Eduardo Dolón highlighted that the local government has invested over €20 million in sports facilities in the past five years. The works, carried out by Pavasal S.A., cost over €1 million and also include upgrades to tennis courts, improved lighting, and new accessible routes between zones.
Once completed, the refurbished area will offer better facilities for local sports schools and the community, says Información.
