Local Education Department launches technology camp for children aged 9–13
The Education Department of Torrevieja has announced a free Digital Camp for children aged 9 to 13. It will run from July 21 to 25 and aims to boost young people’s digital skills in a fun, safe, and responsible way.
Participants will learn to spot fake news, protect their privacy, create videos and presentations, and even design their own video game. The camp is taught by specialist educators and supported by the EU’s NextGenerationEU funds. At the end, children receive an official DigComp certificate.
