Over 700 singers meet 20–26 July
The 71st International Habaneras and Polyphony Contest, Torrevieja’s top cultural event, runs 20–26 July at the Municipal Theatre. Seventeen choirs will perform, with nine competing for prizes up to €12,000. The compulsory piece is Torrevieja es así.
The opening gala features Sole Giménez and local artists. Ana Belén Roy (RTVE) will present the galas, broadcast live on local TV, À Punt, and a public screen at Paseo Vista Alegre.
