Tarzan: The Musical — February 21–22, 2026
The Municipal Theatre becomes a lush African jungle as Tarzan: The Musical blends music, theatre, dance, and acrobatics in a family adventure full of energy and wonder. Set against the legend of Tarzan—raised by gorillas in a mysterious island jungle—the story is narrated by Isabella, the nurse and shaman who has cared for Jane since childhood. When William Clayton proposes a return to the island that shaped their destiny, Jane, Archi, and young Charlie embark on a journey that will change their lives.
The production dazzles with mobile scenic modules, immersive visual effects, and a vibrant ensemble. Set in Salzburg, 1938, the story follows Maria Rainer, a free-spirited novice who brings music and joy to the disciplined home of Captain Georg von Trapp and his seven children as the shadow of Nazism grows over Europe.
