Coordinated Traffic and Security Plan
In addition to the shuttle, the Local Police will implement a dedicated traffic management plan at both the Torrevieja and La Mata cemeteries. Officers will monitor access roads, direct parking, and assist with pedestrian flow — especially during peak afternoon hours on November 1.
Visitors are encouraged to:
- Use the free bus service to avoid parking issues
- Follow designated pedestrian paths
- Respect no-parking zones near entrances
Religious Services and Community Traditions
The spiritual dimension of All Saints’ Day remains central. On Saturday, November 1:
- Torrevieja Municipal Cemetery: Holy Rosary at 16:30, followed by All Souls’ Mass at 17:00
- La Mata Cemetery: Mass at 16:30
Local florists and vendors near the cemeteries will be open throughout the weekend, offering chrysanthemums, candles, and memorial items — a longstanding tradition that adds color and life to the solemn occasion.
A City That Honors Memory with Care
Each year, thousands of residents participate in All Saints’ Day, transforming the cemeteries into spaces of quiet gathering, prayer, and familial tribute. The City Council’s proactive measures — from free transport to enhanced security and religious coordination — reflect a deep respect for this cultural cornerstone.
As Councillor Sánchez noted, the goal is simple: to allow every family to remember in peace, with dignity, and without obstacles.
This All Saints’ Day, Torrevieja opens its arms — and its buses — to those who keep memory alive.
