Terror short film contest, PortAventura trip, and “Howarts Experience” headline Torrevieja’s youth program.
Torrevieja’s Youth Department has announced its Autumn 2025 Youth Agenda, featuring 12 activities and events for October, November, and December.
Councillor Domingo Paredes highlighted two Halloween-themed activities: the “Torrerífico” horror short film festival, organized with the youth association La Comarca and the University of Alicante’s Torrevieja branch, taking place on Sunday, October 26, at the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Centre; and a weekend trip to PortAventura on November 8–9.
That same weekend will also feature the “Howarts Experience,” a Harry Potter–themed event organized by La Comarca in collaboration with the Youth Department. It will be held at the Municipal Leisure Centre (CMO) with free admission.
The agenda also includes an online course for educators of students with special needs, and a certified training program in customer service for the tourism sector, aimed at young people registered in Spain’s National Youth Guarantee system.
Other recurring activities include role-playing games, board games, and video game sessions at the CIAJ youth center, English conversation sessions with British volunteers, and inclusive leisure outings for young people with disabilities.
For the Patron Saint Festivities, the popular “Grand Prix Juvenil” returns on Saturday, November 29, following the success of last year’s first edition.
