New profiles will share daily updates on green space maintenance and sustainability efforts
The Torrevieja Parks and Gardens Service, managed by Actúa–Grupo Hozono Global, has launched new social media profiles to bring its daily work closer to residents. Starting July 3, citizens can follow “jardinesdetorrevieja” on Facebook, Instagram, and X for regular updates.
These channels will share photos, videos, and information about daily tasks such as pruning, planting, irrigation, pest control, and cleaning. They will also promote environmental awareness and sustainability education with gardening tips and best practices for using green spaces.
The Parks and Gardens Department invites everyone to connect through social media and take an active role in keeping Torrevieja greener and more sustainable.
The new maintenance contract now covers 362 public spaces, totaling over 2 million square meters—an increase of 800,000 compared to previous coverage. The team has doubled to 113 professionals, and the fleet has tripled to 68 vehicles and machines, ensuring faster and broader service.
